Hi, I’m Mandy!
Welcome, and thanks for stopping by. I’ve been teaching yoga since 2022 and earned my 200-hour certification at YAM in Hendersonville, NC, followed by my 300-hour certification with Vira Bhava Yoga School. Currently, I’m expanding my expertise by participating in the yoga therapy training program at The Optimal State.

Through my training and practice, I’ve discovered that yoga is much more than physical movement—it’s a powerful tool for cultivating self-awareness, emotional regulation, and nervous system balance. By embracing these tools, we can move beyond living on autopilot and begin living with purpose.

As a yoga therapy consultant serving the Asheville and Hendersonville, NC, communities, I’m passionate about using yoga therapy techniques to support mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. My therapeutic approach is particularly focused on helping women heal from birth trauma, postpartum depression, and postpartum anxiety

Why this focus?
When I became a new mom, I faced unprocessed birth trauma and postpartum anxiety, and I know firsthand how isolating that experience can feel. My mission as a yoga therapist is to support new moms (or seasoned ones!) during these challenging transitions. Whether you’re navigating motherhood for the first, second, or third time, I’m here to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel supported, heard, and understood.

When I’m not leading classes or facilitating yoga therapy sessions, you’ll often find me enjoying all that Asheville and Hendersonville have to offer. I love baking for my family, exploring local community events, writing, or curling up with a good book.
